Since I have been gambling for a long time now I have only won big amounts twice and since then it is either I won too little or none.
Have you not ever ask yourself why your neighbour gambler won $2000 some years back and no other similar wins happen?
I understand what you mean bro, and I respect your advice, but I think little different.
I also gamble for a long time, and I had times when I won big — not many times, but it happened. One time I win around $1500, I was so happy. I didn’t go crazy with it. I sent some money home, paid a few bills, and just relaxed. I didn’t think like “this is the last time I win” — I just told myself, next time maybe I lose, so it's better I use this win smart.
For me, the problem is not expecting to win; the problem is not knowing how to stop, or how to use the win. If you always expect big win every time, yes, that’s bad. But if you win and then believe no more wins will come, that makes you play with fear. And fear also make people lose.
So I think better way is, when you win, enjoy it, use it smart. When you lose, accept and move on. But don’t think like “no more win ever come.” Because life is up and down, and sometimes a lucky moment comes again.
Just saying from my heart and what I learn from my own mistake.
