Re: Beware of telegram scammers, yet another scam attempt
The title says it all. Today I was approached by an unknown person on telegram who claims to be a reseller of telegram usernames. He offered me a total sum of 8K USDT for my username. Being aware of this method of scamming I decided to troll this guy a bit, pretending to know nothing. Note that my username isn't of anything significant, I just used some words and set it.

Kidding aside, if that was a newbie that they approached, they might jump into it immediately and sell it.
I mean it's $8,000 so... why not, right? Of course, for us who know how this works already, it will not work for us. Just the fact that they approached you out of nowhere is considered a scam attempt already. Legit people will not approach you to pitch their project - let alone on a scammy platform lik Telegram or even in discord. Anyway, this is a bit alarming knowing that there are many newbies that are using Telegram and the fact that they're offering them a huge sum of money surely is very attractive to them. This is why we always say to learn what are the red flags when it comes to crypto including the ways how scammers are scamming people.
