Defeats always been the fate of Al Nassr when it comes to big games. Al Ittihad is the best SPL club this season, the club have proven this scenario in different SPL games and also against elite rivalry. I was not surprised when Al Ittihad did an epic come back against Al Nassr, ofcourse its the usual weakness and error in the defendlines of Al Nassr that cost them. They've always remained relenting when leading in a game, they do not know when to strive and this have become some sort of random feature for them.
I was expecting Al Ittihad to win, but when Al Nassr was ahead by 2-0, I thought that they had a chance. Native Saudi player Ayman Yahya scored the second goal for Al Nassr, after Sadio Mané scored a 3rd minute goal. By half-time, Al Nassr was 2-0 ahead. But then hell broke lose during the second half. Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kanté scored goals in quick succession to level the match, and then it was left to Algerian player Houssem Aouar to score the winning goal in injury time.
Al Nassr have got a bit of problem here losing to Al Ittihad at home, three points that would have put them in the 3rd place in the league table, a game that they led during the first half event, which they could have maintained and play more defensively knowing fully well that they're playing against a stronger opponent side, and having a 2 goal advantage in the first half was a fantastic thing to have maintained or even worst case scenario draw keep them on a draw, but at the end was the most annoying thing.
