Arsenal after losing first leg of semi final, lost the second leg today also. They need to figure out how to perform well at crucial stage of the tournament. All hard work has no value if you can't perform at very last stage of the tournament.
After watching Arsenal's defeat in the home match, I didn't think Arsenal would win the away match. I considered PSG as the favorite. But I expected the match to be a draw. But PSG played well. Like the first leg, we saw PSG win the second leg as well. In this match, Arsenal attacked more than PSG. However, PSG's attacks were strong. Unlike the previous matches, PSG did not play a completely attacking strategy in this match. PSG kept their defense strong. And even then they tried to score goals on the counterattack. I am completely satisfied with PSG's overall gameplay.
It isn’t as if Arsenal’s performance was poor in the two legs; obviously their performance was good, but Arsenal always problem if they disgrace their fans in the most important stage of competitions. At first I didn’t expect this match to end like this. I was expecting a draw in this match and not PSG winning the match, but rather even if it does not end in a draw, the match should be in favour of Arsenal, but unfortunately Arsenal were not able to defeat PSG, and it was so bad.
As for Inter Milan and PSG, I was thinking Inter Milan could win the trophy at first after they defeated Barcelona, but given how PSG's performance went yesterday, seriously. I’ve started thinking that PSG are the favourite for the Champions League title this season, but we can’t conclude yet. Let’s see what will happen since the match is going to be a very tough one.
