None of these countries have been bold enough to take the first step. It looks like most of them are waiting for the US to make the first move. If Donald Trump starts implementing his promise to make Bitcoin a reserve currency, maybe more nations will join immediately. For now, what we have been hearing is news showing nations' interest in making Bitcoin a reserve currency, but none have been backed with actions.
Trump has fulfilled his promise to make bitcoin a US strategic reserve, but the problem is that he does not have the authority to turn that executive order into a “bill”. His bitcoin reserves are fragile and can be abolished at any time, which is why other countries have not yet supported the idea. Only when strategic bitcoin reserves become law will it create a global domino effect, other countries will create their own strategic bitcoin reserves. But doing that would require congressional approval, and it seems like an impossible task at this point since many politicians still don't like bitcoin.
Bitcoin has a chance to become a global reserve asset like gold but not now or in the near future.
