Unfortunately, there will still be individuals who will not learn from this episode but will gladly keep believing in people who call themselves prophets, pastors, and so on, all in deceit to have people follow them. I am not saying that all men who claim to be called by God are fake; I am just saying that by their fruits you will know them.
Personally I see any pastor, preacher or prophet who deviates from the gospel into giving prophesy for football games and politics as fake.
Maybe the prophet had a dream about it as he may love watching ball. What someone like doing can be seen in a dream. Maybe he just told his church members about the dream and not knowing some of them will use it to bet. The man does not tell them or advice anyone among them to bet. I can not use this to conclude that he is fake or not. I will put the blame on people that believe him and went to bet because of what the man said.
