If the funds are already deposited in the bank account why should the tax authorities be notified, first at all?

If I wanted to withdraw my five thousand Euro in fifty Euro bills to wipe my ass off with then why would they even care?

Also the supposedly all powerful 'tax authority' can directly observe the all transaction coming from my bank anyway....
