Make sense, as even how good you follow your strategy but if luck will not back you up then the outcome still against you, though using strategy in the positive side of gambling, just when you alreay encounter luck and it reached the amount that you are aiming then the best startegy to follow is to quit all the way and withdraw your earnings.

Strategy that will allow you to compensate when luck permits something for you, you need to be wise executing your exit strategy..

It all depends on the level of the player, because everyone has different knowledge and experience and how you can use it is of great importance. If someone wants to hope for luck, then this is his choice, but I prefer to proceed from statistics. Everyone can look at their results over the past half a year, or it is better to see the number of winning and losing bets, based on this, you can conclude how much you are a good player, these are just numbers that will tell you the truth, and you will not need to think about luck.

Sadly, there are no statistics when it comes to casino games and slots. But yes, I agree with you when it comes to sports betting. We must rely on those fields because that's the only weapon we have to increase our chances of winning. It is very important for a sports gambler to at least try to look at the records, history, player injuries, and other kinds of stuff that need to be seen before they place their bet, so that mentally, we are sure that we are going to win it.

Luck is uncontrollable. We just rely on it, but it cannot be seen. Stats can be seen. We can also rely on it, and there's reality about it.
