Although China's growth rate is high, it still lags behind the US. This may be because the US is the economic quarterback. China is making rapid progress in many areas such as artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, chips, but it is more dependent on imports than the US in many areas. This makes them more vulnerable.

For China to become a global leader, economic size alone is not enough. The US's liberal democracy provided a model for many countries in the post Cold War era. China's authoritarian capitalism, on the other hand, is not one that many countries want to emulate. In terms of cultural imposition, China is far behind the US. Moreover, the US has very strong global alliances and China has no such advantage. China has the potential to overtake the US, but it faces many structural obstacles.
China is a country where everything is being updated every day, which is bringing new and unique things to them in every field, but despite everything, what it has can never beat America because there are many firsts that America has strong but China does not have because they face many fundamental obstacles and if China is seen in terms of creativity, then what China has can leave America far behind, but there are many economic weaknesses due to which China cannot compete with America. The positive point of America is that they have global unity, but what China has does not have any such plus point due to which China is behind America.

Being the biggest in economic terms can also bring many negative situations. The economic competition of two countries causes political problems. Being strong also brings difficulties and this is generally the case. Constantly comparing two countries also causes them to harm each other. When these big economies harm each other, the economy of the whole world is also negatively affected.

We know how China has developed itself and shown the world its economic power, but I think it is not a criterion that it is usually compared to the USA. Both countries have great economic power, so most of the time the comparisons made can be meaningless.
