Arsenal are out of the Champions League competition so the only thing left for them to do currently is to protect what they've been achieving consistently for years now which is ending the league as runners-up, honestly it thought this was Arsenal's season cause they've been very consistent in qualifying for top four, I won't have believed if anyone had told me that Arsenal wouldn't win any trophy nor the league this season.
What suprised me most is that Manchester City that's been hindering them from winning the Premier league didn't do that this season but they still couldn't seize the opportunity, they allowed Liverpool to win it, maybe Arteta is just too comfortable with finishing the league as runners-up.
That's right, Arsenal failed to capitalize on the momentum to win a trophy. Manchester City dip in performance should have been a golden opportunity for them. Arne Slot, in his very first season, immediately managed to do it, at the start of the season, perhaps only a few believed Liverpool would succeed in winning a trophy this year. Arteta seems like a runner-up specialist manager, and he's lucky to be coaching Arsenal because at another club, Arteta might have already been sacked by now.
