Yes you can be financially free and good but only If you stay out of the system and use alternative routes like off shore or others.

I'd flip this around and say almost the opposite, most people are not willing, even if they have access to the means, to put in the effort required to make themselves financially free. I see a lot of people claim it, but then wastefully fritter away money on poor choices or unnecessary products. They get themselves caught up in the consumerist lifestyle, thinking the new a new phone and car every couple years, which severely restricts their ability to grow financially. Banks love customers who go into any form of debt, as they are trapped paying interest rates. There is a lot of blame on external sources, because people often don't like to recognize or admit their own flaws - which can be improved if you actively work on it.
