This defeat will cost Manchester City their position because if Chelsea and Newcastle win their matches, they will push City down to 5th position. However, football is full of surprises and one saw this coming. This is the second match that Southampton have played on a clean sheet out of their last 47 matches. This is Ike a big relief to Southampton.
Not entirely true though, both Newcastle and Chelsea played each other just a while ago, so both teams can't win each other. Manchester will only go one position down the pecking order and that's it. I still can't believe it that Southampton held Manchester City to a stand still in a game that if Manchester City wins it, they will go second on the log. Lest see what will happen in their two remaining games of the season, although Manchester City will qualify that's for sure.
Arsenal Vs Liverpool is another match to look after today, they are both not under too much pressure because they both know where they are ending this season. Arsenal need to win the match to increase their points gap between them and Manchester City it is just one point between them right now.
