Yeah who knows? One big continent but it's Mexico or Canada's president, or California's governor decides to cede The Union and all of our red states become Ameristan   
If you look at political maps, especially California you will see blue (Democrat) concentrations at the coast ---> A better fantasy that the 2 party system ends and we get ranked choice voting. I've been Independent for almost 20 years. Both parties are annoying AF to me but Trumpisim is level of foul that history may have to have the last thought on.
