Currently, round 36 is underway in Premier League finalist of UEFA Europa League are playing their games at home against weaker sides, but both are having same results.
It’s surprising that the two teams couldn’t get a win today, I know what they will use as an excuse is the Europa league final that they are going to be playing, and they have nothing fighting for in the premier league, because they both are at the bottom of the table, but that doesn’t mean they should keep on losing matches unnecessarily, it doesn’t make sense, I was expecting a draw or win from Manchester United, but they lose in the match.
I don’t really know how next season will be, but both teams will have to improve their performance by next season, it’s really shameful seeing the two teams in the position which they are on the premier league table.
As for me, I was not surprised that both Manchester United and Tottenham lost their matches today because I know they have been performing poorly in the Premier League competition. Even today, I knew it was going to be hard for both teams to win their games, especially Tottenham against Crystal Palace. I did not expect Tottenham to beat Crystal Palace because I know they are not in good form.
As for Manchester United, I had a little hope for them, but I was not confident enough to bet on them to win the game because I know they are one team that is unpredictable in this Premier League competition. It really surprises me how these two teams managed to get to the Europa League final with their low performances in the Premier League, but they still reached the final. The team that surprises me the most is Manchester United they played against strong teams in another league but still defeated them, which I never expected to happen.
As for next season, I know both teams will want to improve and finish in better positions because if they continue with their current performances, they will likely lose some of their fans. How can teams that used to finish in the top four, fourth or fifth place, now end up in 15th and 16th positions on the table? It’s really a very poor performance. The painful part is not that these teams lack good squads they really have great players but I don't know what is causing their low performances.
