If we talk about the defense line, I think both teams have the same problem in their defense line. Barcelona applies a high defense line but they can be penetrated easily through long passes. If the opposing team has a playmaker type midfielder and a fast player like Mbappe, Barcelona's goal will be conceded more often. Real Madrid's 2 goals were created from through balls that could not be anticipated by Barca's defenders. But Real Madrid's defense line is much worse. I think only Tchouaméni and Vasquez played quite well even though they also made blunders. Real Madrid's 3 goals were created from open play and 1 from a corner ball. Never winning el classico in one season is a very embarrassing record. I think Real Madrid really needs to make major changes next season.
