If we refer to the country for these two things (Gold and Bitcoin) of course we have to see the interest of each citizen who chooses both of these things because for now the gold market cap is still quite high which means that there are still quite a lot of gold enthusiasts even though among the many gold enthusiasts they also really like Bitcoin so it is possible for them to have both at once. And we also need to know that the store of value for the two assets is still very different so that this difference is what still makes both of them quite attractive to be owned by everyone.
I also do not hate gold even though I really like Bitcoin, but for the future I still focus more on Bitcoin than gold even though gold can still be relied on for hedging money. But for the profit and also being a hedge, it is in Bitcoin so that for now almost all countries have seen and learned about Bitcoin even though they have not immediately made a decision to adopt it as a whole.
Of the two choices, it is quite worth considering because maybe some people still don't know Bitcoin, but for some people who are already quite close to Bitcoin, choosing it is a much better decision.
Bitcoin is also a hedge against inflation and recession even though the risk is quite high but in terms of returns Bitcoin is much better than gold.
Some countries have considered bitcoin as a strategic step and they realize that bitcoin can provide something different but that doesn't mean they are throwing away gold massively.
Gold is still an option for some countries but you are talking about individuals so I agree that holding bitcoin is much more optimal than holding gold.
But what needs to be improved is knowledge so that when bitcoin experiences a sharp decline it does not make someone panic and suffer losses
Why will a long-term bitcoin investor panic when there's a dip. If 6 do not sell, you will not suffer losses because bitcoin price will surely bounce back based on my experience in the market. This is why we must know and plan towards investing into bitcoin for a long-term because the longer you keep buying and hodli for 4-10 years and above, the more confidence and profit you'll gain in bitcoin in future.
It's when you are investing in the wrong direction by having a trader mindset which is for short term profits, is when you will run at loss because no one can predict the price movement of bitcoin and when there's a dip traders can panic and sell. If you're into bitcoin for a short term profits, you are only a gambler and you are wasting your time and money trying to play along with the price wave of bitcoin because in the long run, you will be lost by the price wave of the market.
If you look at bitcoin in the past only El Salvador has shown much interest in it but in recent times, we have seen more countries showing interest in it. I believe that in future even the banks wouldn't have any options than to put some of their value in bitcoin.
