To me, PSG going to the finals and likely going to win it is so dramatic. I can't help but wonder many things;
  • What exactly is in the mind of Mbappe, regret or?
  • If Mbappe was in PSG, would they have gotten to this stage?
  • What if PSG wins the champions league; it will mean that Mbappe didn't only miss the champions league trophy but also missed Ballon d'or.
  • If Dembélé was in Barcelona, will he everly be a Ballon d'or candidate?
Football is indeed mysterious.

Mbappe doesn't have much to regret. He plays for Real Madrid, and sooner or later, he will win the Champions League. He will definitely win titles. There is a very high chance of Madrid winning the Champions League at least once in the next 5 years, so there's nothing to worry about

We have been watching football long enough to understand that football doesn't work like simple maths.
Who would have thought that Raphina, a player from Leeds, a team battling relegation, would get to be among the favourites for the Balon d'Or? Or who would have thought that the best player in the world would be a 17-year-old? Football works like that, and we can't predict it.
Everybody expected Neymar to win a Balon d'Or, but he never did, yet a shy kid from Croatia won the Balon d'Or in his career. This is football. This is what makes it more interesting.

There are so many questions to ask if we look at football like this.
For example, will Lamine Yamal be the star he is today if Demeble were still at Barcelona? Becasue he played that position if he was in the form he is now,  will they bring a 15 year old to play there?
