Crypto thefts are increasing which should make know the reason privacy is very important. According to police, this happened in November of last year. They were three teens which kidnapped someone who just finished hosting a crypto-related event in downtown Las Vegas. They told the person that they have also kidnapped his father as they want him to give them his account password.
I don’t think it’s bad hosting crypto related events, but when hosting events like this, then make sure you consider the security condition of the place where you are hosting the event. Also if you are organizing events like this, you are not suppose to use your main wallet as example to people, the amount of coin you are holding should be known to only you, and if you are teaching about crypto, just create a new account, and deposit just little amount of money, and use that account to teach them about trading.
The person’s intention is to increase crypto awareness, and to teach people about crypto, but at the end the person planning to help people is being kidnapped, seriously that’s really bad, and that’s really going to discourage other people planning to organize things like this from doing it. We just have to be smart and careful, no matter the amount which the coin you are holding worth, always stay low.
