And why would you pay bills or food with Bitcoin? You can just use fiat currencies, there's no point in using Bitcoin for something that accessible. It's quite reasonable with such a high value to be treated as an investment asset and not a digital currency to be used in our daily lives. I haven't used it in the past years for any purchases, but I have done it in the past (more than 5 to 7 years ago). With that being said, I don't "regret" using Bitcoin for those purchases, because back then I couldn't have made it with fiat, because I didn't have a card on my name (I was still a teenager). However, the amount I had spent in Bitcoin then is equivalent to a few thousand dollars now.

In fact, this is exactly why we cannot and do not want to use bitcoin as a currency or payment method, because it is a valuable asset and can bring great benefits if held for a long time. Why would we waste such an asset just for daily payments when we already have fiat? People say it's because their government hasn't legalized bitcoin yet or there are no stores accepting bitcoin around them...but the real reason is that no one wants to do it, no one wants to spend their bitcoins.

Some people have spent their bitcoins in the past but that is because they did not realize the value of bitcoin and the price of bitcoin was not as high as it is now. Likewise, I used to do that, but now I don't want to do that anymore.
