Well, in the old ages, it's more with war and conquering territories. But as time passes by and people becoming civilized and stable, they know how to govern people and places. And that's why the most peaceful countries now have a better and stable economy due to the past history that they have and thanks to their leaders on those times that have looked forward to the future and for the betterment of their people.
