Both teams are no longer focused on the Premier League because they have ensured that they are not relegated so what is being done now is preparing for the Europa League final. Both coaches are very aware that achieving the title will save them from the slump because at least the fans can be satisfied with achieving one title. But this challenge is not easy because both teams come from the same League so overall for both coaches understand each other's weaknesses. I favor Manchester United as a candidate for the title but Tottenham also has a big chance because so far this season Manchester United has not been able to beat Tottenham in the Premier League.
I see that the Europa League finalists are in the relegation zone has become a mockery, perhaps it is a mockery of the level of the tournament. I do not think such an approach is worthy of any team that will play in the final, you can not just give up the fight in the domestic championship just because you hope to win in another tournament. I see that almost everyone gives the advantage to Manchester United, but in fact I do not see any difference between them and Tottenham, moreover I do not understand how one of these teams will play in the group stage of the Champions League, do they really hope to change in a short off-season?
I am patiently waiting for Reuben Amorim next season. I will reserve my energy because whatever I say here, lots of people will say let's give him till next season before judging him, I wonder the kind of magic he will do next season to better Manchester United, before the start of next season.
If it were easy, I would have suggested that Manchester United and Tottenham should have been stripped of playing the final. You ain't the only one that has felt bad towards the approach which Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur showed towards their domestic league, while chasing the final of the Europa league. It was the same thing that Angered Arsene Wenger and he spoke out, urging Uefa to remove the automatic champions league qualification for Europa league winners. But it's so unfortunate that there is no rules regulating such behaviour from teams participating in continental competitions.
