Arsenal again playing very poorly at the end of the season, as in previous seasons, but last season Manchester City overtook Arsenal in the table and became champion. This time Newcastle could beat Arcanal, cause Newcastle are only 2 points behind Arsenal.
Of the last 5 games, Arsenal lost 3 and drew twice and this is when Saka returned from injury, so most likely Arsenal have psychological problems, when the team can not adjust to the end of the season and starts to lose or draw at the most inopportune moment.
That's because Arsenal focus for last few weeks was UCL not EPL, they were in semi finals of UCL and giving best there. Now they are out from UCL and only thing they need in EPL is to finish in top 5, so they will play next UCL. Arsenal next two games are against New Castle and Southampton, they need to win at-least one of there remaining two games to stay in safe zone and play next UCL. To finish as second best team of this season they need to win both of there upcoming matches.
They tried their best in the UCL semi-finals but their luck was not with them due to which they had to lose. Arsenal gave enough attention in UCL but they failed to win in the end and lost their hope. However, right now their maximum attention should be on EPL, since they have only two matches left, so they have to win both matches to maintain their position. I think in the next two matches they will definitely beat their opponents and maintain their top second place. And next season they will qualify for UCL, surely Arsenal team will play UCL with more skill and hard work in the next time.
