From the little knowledge that I have in bitcoin, I feel that those people who are after short-term profits are short sighted on the big picture of bitcoin in future. It's when you're more after short term profits that you can make wrong decisions which will make you regret your actions of selling for little profits in future. Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme and I don't think that any short-term profit chaser can make maximum profits within a short time because bitcoin price will increase far higher than what he sold and would make a better profits if he holdi for long-term.
If you have bitcoin knowledge and understand how bitcoin works, you wouldn't settle down for short term profits because you are a trader and the market is very risky with no guarantee of profits. People that understands about people will love to go on long term investment because they know that they are saving for their future and that bitcoin is more of an asset than a trading tool.
If you sell for short term profits because you are carried away with your profits in fiat, what will you do next to buy back at the dip, or put your funds into a fiat debasement investment. Profits should be the target but the quantity of bitcoin that you can accumulate overtime.
That is sort of right. I do like the people who are good at trading, so if they want short term trading income then yeah that's fine, because you can make money trading if you are good at it. But at the same time you need to realize that you are going to make mistakes when the time comes and because of that trading is scary to me. That means you are right that long term holding is a lot better and most people should be looking for that and if they can do that then the yare going to get a better result.
Many do not do it, they want short term income, and those quick profit chasers end up losing money most of the time and they regret what they are doing afterwards. So be careful and do a better job next time you want more profit and just hold long term.
