Arsenal have tried their best this season, but luck is still not on their side including sacrificing EPL to focus on UCL, but they still failed. It doesn't matter to them where they finish, as long as they are in the top five. Arteta must take big steps to face new challenges next season, they need to bring in some quality players to strengthen their squad to win the EPL trophy and even the UCL if they are lucky.

Arsenal has been trophyless for five consecutive seasons, and 700 millions already spent. Enough to use luck as an excuse to see them being trophyless. They have to realized their fault, and fix their problems, otherwise, they will stay trophyless forever.
The picture also said the truth about their condition. They try, but never fix their problems. What's the purpose?
In Arsenal’s case, I really don’t think going without a trophy in the last five years should be the topic of contention rather it should be a problem if the team has recorded no significant progress in the last five years but the club has recorded significant process which I can list out:
1. Finishing 2nd for three consecutive seasons in the Premier League
2. reaching quarter finals in the Champions League last season which the previous was in 2010
3. Arsenal exceeded their UCL limit and made it to the semi finals of the competition this year.
