There is no doubt that Real Madrid is one of the strongest teams, but matches are not won just by being nominated.
Clearly they did not do well during the season or rather they did not go at their best, otherwise everything
would have been different.
They have always had outstanding players and equally good coaches, it was simply not their year.
Surely the bitter taste in their mouths will lead the team to push harder in the next competitions.
Real Madrid have been one of the greatest club in the European football. We know their history, they dominated and won major titles all these years, therefore seen as one of the most decorated club in Europe. Who wouldn't keen on playing for Real Madrid? We know alot have happen this recent times but it doesn't count for me because Real Madrid I know will always come out on the top, they will thrash oppositions when they're back to their prime.

Real Madrid coach and president are not sleeping, they're making changes and improving features for the weak spot of the club. Carlo Ancelotti paving path for his replacement to step in. Xabi Alonso who happen to be one of the great intellectual midfielders of Real Madrid. We know it's been competitive and knowing how to tie the knots for Real Madrid, always coming out to be the very best competitive team.

But Real Madrid with all its great reputation is not the only top club in the world. The number of titles they have won in the Champions League never guaranteed them to get the players they want. Haaland turned down offers, Lewandowski turned down offers, as far as I understand they were now trying to get Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and he turned down their offer. They are still one of the best teams in the world irrespective of whether a few players say no or not, but I don't see them on the same level as Barcelona right now. They need to get these perfect mechanics back into their team, which they had going for them from the goalkeeper to the defense, to midfielders and to their strikers. It was so well set up and now I t hink they have impressive players on their team, but it is not yet playing out between them as they want it to.
