Majority of the followers of this thread may not be able to relate with you because staying glued to the chart to monitor market trend and intermittent direction is attribute of traders who are looking for quick ways of profiting from the market. From my understanding, most of the discussions have been centred around long term holds so it is my believe that people here are mostly looking for how to buy and hold for long and not bother by what the price is or what is printed on the chart.

Even if there may be few traders here, they may be doing this separately from their long term Bitcoin accumulation thereby making discussions about trading here totally unnecessary.

I agree, that this thread talks a lot about investing in the long term in bitcoin and long-term investment certainly will not require too much analysis. Because basically long-term investors only accumulate routinely (for those using the DCA strategy) and hold it in the long term. Or those who invest using the Lump sum strategy are the same, they will not be too fixated on the price when they buy their bitcoin. Because basically why should we bother thinking about the current bitcoin price, or analyzing the current market, if we are going to hold the bitcoin for more than 10 years. This is where the difference lies between genuine long-term bitcoin investors and traders who say they are bitcoin investors.

In addition, buying bitcoin when it is down is also, of course, this strategy is less than ideal if you are a new investor in bitcoin and do not have a large portfolio or even none at all. Because for bitcoin investors who may already have a portfolio of 75-80% of their target, I think buying bitcoin when there is a decline will not be a problem.
