Arsenal and Newcastle's game would be an interesting one to watch but I don't think that arsenal can win Newcastle in their current state.. Newcastle are coming for the second position and they are eager to get it... I don't know if arsenal are still weighed down by the fact that they got kicked out of the champions league... Liverpool has nothing to fight for so I expected them to win Liverpool in their last game like Chelsea did but unfortunately the game ended as a draw.
The Arsenal vs Newcastle match will probably be a very fierce match. But I still feel quite confident that Arsenal as the host will win the match. Newcastle have indeed improved at this time but I still think they are still below Arsenal in terms of strength level. But if Arsenal is not in their best condition then yeah Newcastle can be favored. but I'm sure Arteta knows how important this match is. Because Arsenal only needs one win or at least 1 draw to secure a UCL ticket this season. Even though Arsenal is currently in second place, they are not 100% safe. So yeah, this match will be very important for Arsenal. But yeah, so does Newcastle.
Arsenal are the favourite in this particular game because of their name and because of the fact that they are playing at home, if not, I didn't think they are stronger than this Newcastle united team especially on present form, and it's a game they both can't afford to lose because Aston villa, Chelsea and Nottingham forest are ready to take advantage of any further dropping of points by either arsenal or Newcastle united, so let's be expecting a fierce and competitive encounter between this two teams.
Looking at their head2head record in their last five meetings Newcastle united have won four while arsenal has won just one, and in their immediate past meeting Newcastle united won arsenal by two goals to nil, so judging by that and the recent dominance of Newcastle united over arsenal, I see them still winning this encounter here, the best possible result arsenal can get from this game is a draw, but in my own opinion, their is a higher probability that arsenal might lose this game to this Newcastle united side if care is not taken.
