The fate of Dortmund qualifying for next season's Champions League is 100 percent in the hands of Frankfurt, for them I don't think Holstein Kiel will be a problem for as they can easily see them off with a win. If we track back to this Dortmund team, as we all know it, they had a bad run of form in the first half of the season and also in the early stages of the second half. There was a point in time were they were in 10th position and it wasn't even too long they started getting back to winning ways after the sack of Nuri Sahin. Even if they don't make it to the UCL next, for me considering how they were initially I would say they've done well. There's still hope for them but if it doesn't happen, they still tried.
The fate of Borussia Dortmund playing in next season's UEFA Champions League competition is in their own hands and not in the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt, the reason being that if Freiburg wins against Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund wins against Holstein Kiel, Borussia Dortmund will enter the 4th position in the Bundesliga league table because they have more goals forward than Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, which will be used to judge Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt if they tie on equal points. Borussia Dortmund just needs to beat Holstein Kiel to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Make this to make sense to me please. Both of us are in a competition and it's the final day of the competition after many months of competing. Before the last game, you have 55 points and I have 54 points, if you win that means you will be getting 58 points while if I win I will be getting 57 points, do you count goal difference before points or it's the other way round? Frankfurt needs to draw or win Freiburg in other for Dortmund to make it to the top 4 after winning their own game. Now you see you, it's in the hands of Frankfurt to determine wether Dortmund makes it to next season's Champions League or not.
