The match between the two teams will be the match between the favorites of the Europa League. Since no team has reached this level in the Champions League, the two teams with the best squad and the highest value squad in the Europa League are facing each other. I think most people expected this result. With the advantage of the fixtures, both teams reached the final without experiencing an early elimination. Frankly, I thought the Spanish could eliminate Manchester, but Manchester eliminated them with two great matches and reached the final. Tottenham played the qualifiers with weaker opponents and came to the final a little more comfortably. When I consider the games played, I see Manchester United as the favorite.
If you told me at the start of the season then I would that this would be likely (unless they face each other earlier). But after watching them at premier league all season long, I started to believe that it is not really that likely, because both of the teams sucked and they were terrible. Now I look at it, those terrible teams still managed to somehow end up with a win and that is a great thing for them.
If we can do this then we are going to see them do a great job for next season, at least one of them will. That should be the best case scenario for one of them, be in UCL next season, you start over the league, and you have a summer to get better so one of them will do great. That needs to be the most important part.
