So which is harder in your opinion? Meriting or reporting
IMO: being a merit source is the most hardest volunteer work - reasons why some dropped, some aren't distributing anymore cause it requires you to read more than you're supposed to. Looks more easy on the outside side but it's not.
The facts are obvious. Meriting is easier but it's the other way round when you are a source because it becomes a duty you have to use to serve a whole lot of users. The reason I'm able to merit quality most times is because I spend literally more time surfing than posting. A quality post always stands out and in my opinion isn't much difficult to find.
Note: I will modify the more of application on the merit thread to show only post links.
I prefer you create another thread for it or I could and self moderate it . Weekly I could fish out roughly 10 to 15 quality posts across the board or even more depending on the boards output that week. If a couple hours of my surfing time a week means more quality posts get merits then it's worth it.
It's your call....
