I was surprised at what I saw the Madrid side play against a team that's not good to be in the top flight, honestly Madrid was lucky, if it were Betis or Alaves or let's say Valencia, the story would have been different because the chances Mallorca threw away was too much to give them the win and the couldn't hang on the ball for 10secs and Madrid could not score more than the 2 goals we saw them get in that game. Ancelotti can't coordinate the team like he used to maybe because his mind is no longer at the club and he couldn't wait to start a different journey so I'd say Madrid was lucky tonight.
For more than 60 minutes we felt tense and very worried that Real Madrid would lose the match. because they continuously make attacks but always fail. And after Mbappe scored a goal in the 68th minute he just started to feel calm. But because I favored Real Madrid to win, I was still not happy when Real Madrid only managed to equalize the score. And yes, in my opinion, a goal in the added time was like luck. because without additional time we will only see a draw.

It was clear that Ancelotti was no longer focused. Maybe it's because he can't wait to coach the Brazilian national team. Because starting on May 26, it is reported that Ancelotti will indeed become coach of the Brazilian national team. So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if he started to lose focus. However, still providing full points in last night's match is still good enough.
Mbappé is already carrying that “if I don’t, who will?” energy. Bro just broke Di Stéfano’s debut-season record and still looked frustrated half the time. He’s looking around for that second star to link up with, and they’re either injured or playing with fear. You could even see it when Gonzalo missed that sitter. Ancelotti’s reaction on the touchline said more than his interviews ever will.

And yeah, the added-time winner felt lucky, but when you rack up 39 shots and 26 corners, something has to give. Madrid bullied the door until it cracked. But emotionally, it was messy. The fans weren’t celebrating a comeback. They were relieved it wasn’t worse.

End of a cycle vibes all over.
