I was surprised at what I saw the Madrid side play against a team that's not good to be in the top flight, honestly Madrid was lucky, if it were Betis or Alaves or let's say Valencia, the story would have been different because the chances Mallorca threw away was too much to give them the win and the couldn't hang on the ball for 10secs and Madrid could not score more than the 2 goals we saw them get in that game. Ancelotti can't coordinate the team like he used to maybe because his mind is no longer at the club and he couldn't wait to start a different journey so I'd say Madrid was lucky tonight.
You thought Madrid was lucky to win. You are saying that if they had played against better team like Betis or Alaves or Valencia so they would have taken advantage of mistakes Mallorca made and could have beaten Madrid.
You are pointing out that Mallorca was not good at keeping ball and missed too many chances to score. It means Madrid did not play well like they play in past.
And that can be good reason which you mentioned that Carlo Ancelotti might be thinking about leaving club soon and that is why he is not coaching team as well as he mostly do. So Madrid win was not because they played great but because they got lucky that night.
Yes I said that, understand me...if it were those teams I mentioned the little chances Mallorca had in front of goal while the game was 1-1 they would have converted it but Mallorca wasn't a good team and their performance was poor that's why I was expecting Madrid to beat them with at least 3 to 4 goals since the Mallorca side wasn't that good but Madrid was just desperate to get a goal which resulted to a lot of missed opportunities.
There was a game Mallorca did not score but the were leading the game not by goals like I said they didn't not score but leading by the highest number of offside and this is the team Madrid was begging and doing every thing to get just 1 goal, is very disappointing last night, even in that encounter Madrid had the highest number of corner kicks the first I have seen in la Liga this season and I wonder why the game had to end 1-2, no encouraging at all. I feel Madrid has given up already since they could not catch up with Barcelona, I just believe Madrid would be taking the remaining games as a training section ahead of next season.
