Arsenal lost their last three matches against Newcastle United, and they don’t have any win in their last five matches; 2D3L. This shows that Arsenal’s performance towards the end of this season is not good, and their injured players are almost back; as an Arsenal fan, I don’t like the team we are becoming these days because I am highly disappointed in our team’s performance especially in the Champions League. However, I don’t think the players will be relaxed against Newcastle United because they know that they might lose the second position if they lose against Newcastle United and Arsenal might become the team to be fighting for the Champions League spot because the position is tight as both Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest are fighting for.
It's really sad seeing Arsenal performance decline always at the end of every season, since Arteta took charge it has always been this way, they start well and end it poorly that is why they haven't been able to win anything serious. I know a champions league spot is assured for them but if they are not careful they might drop from 2nd place.
They have been in terrible form since their victory against Real Madrid and Ipswich Town and they haven't won any game since then. When they won Madrid some people were even predicting Arsenal to win the champions league not knowing things will change for them. I am not sure they will be able to win Newcastle because they are not in their best shape and Newcastle is currently performing well but sometimes football doesn't go as predicted. The winner in this game will surely take the 2nd position.
