That is so shocking, I can't believe that is actually true. At group stage they played 8 games, 5 wins, 3 draws. Then they played Sociedad, first game 1-1, second game 4-1 which means they won. Then they played Lyon, 2-2 tie on first game, then the famous extra time comeback that was shocking to the whole world that they won 5-4.

And then came the most shocking one ever, the team that is losing to less than 100 million euro worth horrible premier league teams, ended up beating Bilbao with 3-0 on first game, and then 4-1 on the second game. So they have not lost a single game on Europa so far, on 14 games. Same team, has 4 losses in last 5 games at premier league. That doesn2t make sense at all, how can a team be that good at one side, and that bad on another.

That 3-0 win wasn't solely based on performance. There were a lot of circumstances that went against Bilbao that night. The penalty awarded against them combined with the red card suspension was almost impossible to counter for Bilbao afterwards. What could Bilbao have done and was that red card obligatory? I think if they get the penalty against them and it is 0-2 for Manchester United, Bilbao would still have a chance to keep themselves in the game by scoring at least one goal. It was supposed to be like that and now looking at the results, it looks as if Manchester United outplays everyone else, but if you pay close attention, you know that if the final doesn't bring brutal red cards or unbelievable own goals, it's going to be a thriller.

I somewhat agree with you, but i think it was Manchester's determination that won the game. They had plenty of chances where they missed the goal and weren't punished for it. Also, the absence of the Williams brothers contributed to Bilbao's weaker performance. We'll see how Man Utd performs in the final  i give a slight edge to Tottenham, but to be honest, both teams have been pretty dreadful in the Premier League.

They are performing very poorly in the Premier League, I think they admit it themselves. Because they are just above the relegation zone. Both teams are in the worst rankings of recent years in the Premier League, but somehow they managed to reach the final of the Europa League and one of them will be in the Champions League next year despite this unsuccessful season. The team that will stay in the Champions League needs to make very good transfers in the summer because this year has been really bad for both teams.
