Both Manchester United and Tottenham are at the bottom of the points table. There is no possibility of either team falling into the relegation zone. However, their position is 16th and 17th in the table. Despite their poor performance in the Premier League, both teams are continuing their efforts to win the Europa League title.

Manchester United's past match results against Tottenham are not good. United have not won any of their last 5 matches against Tottenham. They have lost 4 matches and drawn one. So it will be very difficult for Manchester United to win this match as well.

Of recent Tottenham has had the upper hand over Manchester United and have been winning them for some time now. Although it's totally a different ball game were both team will not think of previous games but only focus on getting the trophy at their disposal that very day. Well, in this case I don't think what ever that has happened in the league games has no much effect on this because it's a totally different competition and some teams turn into a different mood when they are involved in a different competition.
