To me, PSG going to the finals and likely going to win it is so dramatic. I can't help but wonder many things;
- What exactly is in the mind of Mbappe, regret or?
- If Mbappe was in PSG, would they have gotten to this stage?
- What if PSG wins the champions league; it will mean that Mbappe didn't only miss the champions league trophy but also missed Ballon d'or.
- If Dembélé was in Barcelona, will he everly be a Ballon d'or candidate?
Football is indeed mysterious.
Dembele has always been a standout player, from his time with Dortmund, to Barcelona and now PSG so you can’t dispute the fact that he could be, all he needed was one excellent season with his club and that is what he will be enjoying now. I don’t think there is anything to regret for Mbappe because even if he doesn’t win the champions league this season it is likely he will anytime soon with Real Madrid.
The players contributions are interrelated not just Dembele, everyone creates cooperation. PSG now is different from PSG in the past, both in the era of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe and when only Mbappe was left. If you have to compare the composition of PSG this season it is even and does not depend on 1, 2, or 3 players only.
Actually regarding the question above, there is nothing to regret, especially since PSG is not 100% able to beat Inter. So make sure PSG wins the final first, then you can say that maybe Mbappe is a little disappointed but that won't change anything.
