I'm not sure but here is a simple way I can make you understand artificial intelligence and you can tell from there if it's going to be beneficial to Bitcoin or against Bitcoin. Imagine that you have something that is very intelligent that study the way something behaves to a point where it understand you perfectly that your presence isn't needed again, that's what AI can do for you.

There are many areas where Bitcoin can be very useful for Bitcoin but I tell you what, Bitcoin is just a simple chain with a concnsesus mechanism which can't be alter by anyone. Perhaps people might want to used it on their end but I'm not sure if that's going to be accepted universally because people don't need to trust, they have to verify and if machine learning can do that without the presence of human, then that's fine but I'm not sure if everyone will accept it.
