Sorry, any of you may like or not like this dude, or even simply don't care about him, but the response is great, imho.
Have we even ever witnessed such act of responsibility in the exchange space?
Totally agree credit where credit is due.
My problem with him and his company is first of all that they just seemed to hate Bitcoin. They will support every other project under the sun ( Except Monero, of course, which is the only other blockchain project that I think has any value, really.) and try to drive people into these lunatic chains and bridges and all kinds of crappy crypto nonsense and just ignore Bitcoin completely.
And then secondly, as a provider of custodial services for all kinds of people and companies, they're just turning into giant honeypot. And things like this are pretty scary when you think about what would happen if somebody could hack some of their cold storage or social engineer enough of their key holders or whatever needed to happen to just Destroy Bitcoin's reputation and price overnight.
And finally, there are rumors about them being a fractional reserve, which they obviously could be.
But I actually think the guy should speak more often, do more PR, maybe more podcasts, because every time I hear him, say something, I like him more. And that has value. So he should talk more often and stop beating up on Bitcoin and trying to push everybody into stupid whiz bang chains.
