Accusing a player of being sluggish or playing poorly is simple although there are situations when timing and fit are the only elements at play. Even though Sancho wasn't the ideal fit for Chelsea's current requirements. He is still a talented player. For a number of reasons, clubs move on, so Chelsea would be prudent to rethink their choices if they believe they can find higher value elsewhere.
Chelsea will never be the same club again after Roman Abramovich left. They once had the strongest team in the world, where even the "worst" player was Fernando Torres that says it all. Since 2013, they haven't been the same team, and especially not after Abramovich’s departure. They’ve spent a huge amount of money on transfers, and almost every one of them turned out to be a failure. I remember when Mudryk arrived they were saying he’d be a star, one of the most talented players and in the end, nothing came of it. Now they’re even willing to pay for Sancho to come back. The question is whether they’ll even play in the Champions League by the end of the season. They have Man Utd and Nottingham Forest left to face. We’ll see i’d really love to see the old Chelsea return one day.
