Chelsea always feels so difficult to beat United even when their opponent in the shitty season (h2h). However, they may get more motivation to keep UCL spot in their hand, and must get three points from MU. Three points from MU is very very very important to keep up their chance to qualify for UCL next season.
The odds literally says almost zero chance for MU to be up in this game, but often saw MU performed differently in the important game. They have to smash MU, or they will miss UCL.
Clash of two struggling sides, though one is quite better than the other. I can't really remember any game between these two sides now. Maybe their meetings doesn't interest me much, compare to others. tbh, there is literally nothing to judge the two sides with. H2H and home advantage might even matter in this one. Or maybe the champions league qualification might be enough motivation for the blues like you've said, but I don't even know what Manchester united are playing for now because they already have something greater to fight for, which is an automatic ticket to the same UCl.
