As a result of the market situation it's better to accumulate Bitcoin than to watch additional charts. Sometimes you may get confused and start to have flashy aspirations, so it is advisable to focus on the savings cycle initially. In fact, most of the recommendations made for new investors may go against their wishes and they constantly look at Bitcoin charts and calculate their holdings. The mindset of investing periodically and increasing the accumulation with earnings and increasing the holdings for the long term will increased your tolerance. I think that even if you have a fairly strong source of alternative income and little knowledge about Bitcoin it should not be difficult for you to carry out long term activities in investing. The Bitcoin market situation does not prevent us from investing, but rather motivates us to do it for the long term.
Sometimes, we here can be so much of maximalists with our accumulating bitcoin to the extent that we sound unreasonable. There is nothing wrong with watching charts, afterall, it is still related to bitcoin and we have come to know that we learn more about bitcoin and its related technology as we advance into our accumulation journey. Understanding the charts is not a bad thing as long as you don't start trading your coins. It is yet another knowledge about bitcoin you achieved.
As long as we don't start trading our bitcoin, but continue to accumulate it consistently and with commitment, every other knowledge we can gain about it isn't bad at all and no knowledge is a waste. So why we continue with our regular buys, any knowledge we can get about bitcoin is encouraged by me as long as we don't deviate from investing to trading it.
At some point there is always positive and negative side of learning something, perhaps people can have different perspective about learning something, getting to learn about things relating to Bitcoin is quite good and that is a way of learning as well, there is nothing absolutely wrong in watching market chart but sometime human nature like greed and fear will set in when their is a market downturn fear might set in to think about the unimaginable outcome,
I feel people who are putting interest in watching the market chart are people who are more interested in trading.
Someone whose interest is only to invest and accumulate consistently and hodl for a long time would generally not have time to be watching the market chart, as an investor I don’t have time to be watching market chart instead I’m more interested in accumulating and holding for a long term.
You are still a newbie, so you may as well still have a lot to learn but let me tell you something and what I have learned from experience. The longer you get into something, the more you are interested in knowing more about it and getting to seek out patterns to execute it more effectively. As long as you are disciplined, Knowing more about what you are into helps you appreciate it the more and gives you a broader view, and as well deepens your knowledge of it. A good understanding of the charts can help you set good buy orders. There are times I just watch the charts and suspect that bitcoin price would go further down and end up setting buy orders at lower entry points earlier in the week and allow it to run for some time, at the end of the week if my buy order is not executed, I go and manually fulfill my week's obligation of buying bitcoin.
As a newbie, I will advise you to focus only on buying bitcoin for now, maybe as you advance in it, you may see the need to understand it to your own advantage. Do not reject knowledge because of a perception but be disciplined enough not to deviate from purpose and that would be enough.
