So something has been bugging my mind since and that's the fact Bitcoin is getting too expensive for new folks like me to buy and it really put me on the edge to meet up with my target since am way behind plus the fact that I just got into the investment market not long ago, so my question is, should an investor wait for the Dip knowing fully well it's around the corner or just go straight with your DCA or better still again buy big with cash invested on something you know isn't working out cause it's really looking as if my portfolio isn't growing that much.
There are still many people in the world who are not aware of Bitcoin. Compared to that, you are much ahead of them. You should never think that you are too late to invest. You do not need to worry about all this, just keep buying continuously. Bitcoin is still very far from Satoshi Nakamoto's thinking.
Waiting to invest or waiting to buy a dip is never the right approach. Because let's assume that you are expecting that when the price of Bitcoin falls below $80,000, you will buy. What will you do if the price of Bitcoin does not fall below $80,000? If the price of Bitcoin increases instead of falling, you will miss the opportunity to buy. By waiting to buy a dip, you will fall far behind your goal. You can continue to buy continuously by relying on your stable income and adopting the DCA method.
You are absolutely correct and that is why an investor is not suppose to be myopic because having the feeling or hoping for Bitcoin to Dip to there satisfy state is myopic. Sometimes when we want to do things we ought to check the possibility of the thing, the ability for one to know that Bitcoin is a very volatile asset therefore it can go up and it can also go down, makes one an inform investor. Even though the Dip will help one double or accumulate Bitcoin doesn't mean one should wait for it and the funny thing about it is that it is not guarantee or certain when that Dip will happen so why wasting time to wait.
