I disagree with this. Someone who throws money away isn't necessarily rich. It's more likely he is an irresponsible individual, who doesn't have long term plans or ir unable to achieve them. Rich people behave quite the opposite. They don't treat money as if it was nothing. They respect their finances and all of its aspects, so their money bring their fruits on long run.‘Cause like they say, when you gamble, you’re just throwing money away. Everything you treat as if it's nothing won't bear any fruits in the future... So, someone with that kind of mindset is never going to thrive for real. In most cases the right sentence is: I'm poor, because gambling is my entertainment, or I'm poor, because I can't control my own impulses...
