I think metaverse will just become another niche in the gaming industry and will integrate heavily with NFT.
I also haven't tried their game, always failed registering in their website although I already minted their NFT back in 6th may.
But this niche really need big money to incentivizes playing and building community to make it happen. Metaverse has sucked so much money from meta and yet it's still stagnating.
Metavaverse can be a user friendly far closer to us and the technology is cheaper and it will be massive, now it is still very expensive and only a few people are willing to spend money to try such things in the world, meaning that this technology has not been distributed very well to the layer of society.
My theory will only be an alternative game if in the gaming world but will become innovative if done by office workers and also remote workers, meetings and others can be done using this technology to be more communicative.
