They say gambling is just entertainment, and honestly, we can’t deny it, when you think about it, we’re literally paying to be entertained. And the stats don’t lie: most gamblers end up losing in the end.
We are really paying to be entertained. It sound funny but true. Why I said so is that most times we spent money on unnecessary things that don't add value to our lives and yet we don't complain if we are losing or not but when thesame formula is used on gambling then it turns out that we are doing the wrong thing or we are getting addicted. A person may smoke for 10 years without getting anything in return, instead they suffer for tuberculosis but in gambling, if you are persistent you might win big and Change your life before 10years time. So most times we don't really need to see gambling like a bad thing but a way of paying some amount of money to get entertained and may be lucky to get something in return in the long run.
Of course, in gambling, most players will lose in the long run, but personally, I play and bet small amounts that are not sensitive to my wallet. I consciously limit myself from spending big on gambling because I know that it is a bottomless pit if we cannot control ourselves. Gambling is very insidious, because we can promise ourselves that the bet is the last one, but do it dozens of times until we win. I do not see anything in those players who play like me and strictly limit themselves. Of course, if you take the entire amount lost in bets over the past years, there will be a considerable amount, but I do not really want to know this amount, the main thing is that spending on bets does not interfere with my life and get a little pleasure.
