Whether country accepted Bitcoin or not Bitcoin can not and will not eliminate poverty in that country, let us not make it look like Bitcoin is a poverty alleviation kind of program, a lot of people have this mentality but as soon as they get in to Bitcoin they have become rich, perhaps there are even those struggling to meet up with their basic important needs in various countries then I wonder they can successfully invest in to Bitcoin and moreso Bitcoin is apparently for a long and not a quick and get rich scheme.
However, if Bitcoin is legalized in a country, the government will be able to collect taxes from the people of that country. But I did not mean that a country will be free from poverty if Bitcoin is legalized.

What then can the government do with the tax? If a government has failed to recognize and taker esponsibilities of reaching out to their citizens in terms of providing all the necessary economic and social amenities including providing employment opportunities from their internally generated revenue there is nothing absolutely they are going do with the money to be realize from tax gotten from people transacting with Bitcoin,  there are lot of selfish interest government leadership in part of my country so let us not even talk about taxation on Bitcoin to be helping a nation, it will only enrich those in government and not the citizens.
