Real Madrid do not have many problems because apart from the fact that they didn't go home with a trophy, they performed so well this season because they escaped being eliminated in the playoff round of the Champions League when they faced Manchester City before Arsenal knocked them out in the quarter finals and they also reached the Copa del ray final before Barcelona won the trophy. The only thing that affected Real Madrid was not finding out ways to outplay Barcelona because they could have at least won the Copa del ray or the La Liga if not that Barcelona won them in all the 4 times they met. Barcelona is the major barrier of Real Madrid this season added with their not too experienced defenders which resulted to them conceding many goals and opportunities slept away from them. They need to give their defense high attention next season.
Buddy if I should understand you very well, will you consider your analysis here to be a good reason why you will score Realmadrid as a team that did well this season, although they will end the laliga in the second position but not being trash out in the play of the UEFA champions league during the match with whichever team they met with then isn't a good reason to say they performed very well, as it stands they are still out from the said competition, with what we have seen so far they were defeated easily by arsenal with ease, that beating was a home and away defeat which is too bad although the so called arsenal that send them packing was also dealt with by PSG that being said, Real Madrid never perform to our expectation this season which you also know so I don't have any grade for them, I would've given them kudos if they had atleast taken the Copa del Rey cup home but they couldn't do that instead Barcelona that was in financial crisis earlier this season that was not expected to do great considering the team problem keep messing them up, for me Realmadrid was just an average team this season and nothing more.
