Bangladesh toured UAE to play two T20 matches. Bangladesh is stronger than UAE. Currently, UAE is not performing well, UAE has performed very poorly in the last few ODI matches. However, Bangladesh is far ahead in the head-to-head record between these two teams, Bangladesh has won 3 of the last 3 head-to-head matches between these two teams. So Bangladesh is far ahead based on past and present performance, so I think today's match can be one sided.
The real test for the Bangladesh team will be in the tour to Pakistan, which will happen after this short tour to United Arab Emirates. I do not know why they keep only two matches for this series. There should be at least three matches in the T20 series as per the standard, but anyway, I don't think there would be any interest in watching these matches even by the locals there in the UAE. Considering both teams' strengths, Bangladesh should win these matches comfortably and try to use them as a match practice for the upcoming series against Pakistan.
I don't understand why Bangladesh doesn't organize such series with big teams. Most of the year, Bangladesh is seen either organizing a series with Zimbabwe or organizing a series with the United Arab Emirates or they organize a bilateral series with the West Indies but they are not seen doing something like organizing a series with India or organizing a series with teams like Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand. I think if Bangladesh plays regular series with the top teams, their game will improve and a different confidence will work in them. If the big teams are not interested in playing a series with Bangladesh, then it is the entire responsibility of the BCB because they cannot manage the big teams properly in any way. However, although I don't have much to say about this series against the United Arab Emirates, I would still like to say that Bangladesh can at least finish the series with a win.
