The funniest part is that English people claimed that Premier League was the toughest league in the world and plenty of great teams there, unlike other leagues where there are just one or two good teams.
Well, the reality was seen this season where PSG beat three different premier league teams to get here. They beat the champions of Premier league Liverpool, they beat the second place Arsenal (so not like 10th or whatever), and they beat 6th place Aston Villa (albeit that was the easiest one).
So as we can see PSG, representing Ligue 1, has shown the world that ligue 1 isn't that bad and they can beat any team from Premier league, and they did it this season. I am sure that we are going to see them play wonderful at the final game as well.
It's like in many years, they thought Premier League is a best league in Europe and their national team England can win World Cup and Euro titles. The fact is England did not win any World Cup and Euro titles since World Cup 1966, that is about 60 years ago. They have strong clubs but their club and league development strategies rely too much on money and foreign star players that are harmful for their national team.
PSG are enjoying their amazing season in Champions League after having very difficult group phase but by managing to escape that phase successfully, they performed impressively since then. At round of 16, they beat Liverpool very convincingly and moved straightly toward the final match with many victims from Premier League.
This season looks weird for Premier League with three clubs appear in final matches: Chelsea in Conference League, Manchester United and Tottenhem Hotspur in Europa League but those clubs did not play well in Premier League especially Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
