Everything that happened to Real Madrid was as a result of the players that they didn't sign during last summer transfer window and it affected them more when the injuries came. They didn't have enough squad depth to sustain them through the season and it affected them badly despite having a striker that scored so much goals.i believe next season will be a better season and they will make the appropriate transfers and with the new manager the sky should be their limit.
Yes they were too confident about their performance last season that was why Real Madrid didn’t think they needed to add new players they thought the squad was balanced already. They didn’t think of injuries, they only signed Mbappe and didn’t bother about their defense and that is where they had problems with this season. I this will serve as a lesson to them and they will not make such mistakes again. They need to prioritize improving their defense first so should make use of this transfer window well and add more players. With Mbappe if their defense is strong enough they will be unstoppable they will not have any problems and winning matches wouldn’t be a problem for them.
